i have loved all the kose junkisui products, and although this one definitely has it\'s place in the line, it is the only junkisui product i have given 4 stars to instead of 5. junkisui refreshing spot serum is a clear liquid that acts like a spot-applied \"toner/astringent\". the amount is quite small for the price, but what sets it apart from the junkisui refreshing lotion(toner) in this line is the amped-up core ingredients. it really does help to tighten pores and clear congested, irritated skin without drying it out. my biggest problem (besides the small amount for the price), is the built-in sponge applicator tip. i feel this could lead to contamination, even if it is always applied to just-washed skin. so what i have been doing is unscrewing the sponge tip, and then either dipping a steril cotton swab in the bottle, or pouring a tiny amount onto a cotton pad. i do like this product, but i wish it had a sterile way to apply without having to unscrew the tip every time i use it. this is why i gave it 4 out 5 stars. still, a very worthwhile product to invest in; as my skin loves it. ;0) |
